Real Estate Development has always been a passion for Dan. After spending 10 years on several municipal planning related agencies in which he had to reconcile growth and preservation concerns, Dan decided it was time to combine his passion for the development process with the principles of smart growth.

In 2006, Genesis began identifying suitable pocket neighborhood sites conveniently located near public transportation and existing suburban centers. The first site, Concord River Walk, will be a 13-unit cottage community that will achieve a near net-zero energy goal. The site is located in historic West Concord and abuts the Assabet river. The project is scheduled for a 2011 occupancy.

Genesis has also been providing development services to several of its clients in connection with their need to secure permits, manage project costs and assemble and manage a high performance project team.
